In addition to my extensive experience in the world of Sportsbook and Sports Betting SEO I have also been involved with numerous other forms of Gambling SEO and eGaming SEO (the more Politically Correct version) in the Online Poker and Online Casino verticals.

As time permits I will elaborate on my roles both in the marketing and business aspects of these projects. For now please feel free to check the following sources for my work related experience:

Thanks for maintaining such a wonderful blog. Your weblog was not only knowledgeable but also very creative too. We find a limited number of bloggers who can write not so easy articles that creatively. A lot of people are on the lookout for information on something like this. I have gone through several blogs to acquire knowhow with regard to this.Looking to many more from your site !!

I think that Internet Marketing of eGambling should be identical to the Sports, am I right?
Anyway, that’s very interesting to read your comments on gaming search optimization, especially in case of poker.

I have found internet marketing for gambling websites very hard and very expensive. Its not easy for this niche as many websites won’t link to gambling websites in the fear of being penalised by Google.

Hey Dan, to be 100% honest, I never even though of the idea of tapping into this market and kudos for you to get ahead of the game and working that field. It makes me realize that SEO is just an open universe, and we can target any single industry.

    Take care

I don’t know what to say, but as gambling is officially declared as a possible addiction, maybe some restrictions should be applied to gambling marketing, probably similar to drugs marketing :D anyway, I think it’s tough to promote this type of sites.

eGaming SEO” — i like that term instead of Gambling SEO — although off course they are literary the same.

I haven’t tried egaming seo but I personally think that seo competition in this industry is really tough considering the amount of money these are making. But obviously it pays big when they make big profits.

  11. Poker on April 19th, 2010 7:07 am

As long as the company has a budget for promotion, paying marketing is the key factor of success. SEO is made for site without money ;) But some well known gambling companies also do some SEO but it’s far to be the norm.

  12. Dan Nedelko on April 20th, 2010 4:25 pm

@poker All well known and profitable gaming companies invest in both Marketing and SEO to the tunes of millions of dollars. And for very good reason. Trust me SEO is NOT made for sites without money, you wont be competing in any way with any of the players in the business and your efforts will be a complete and utter waste of time. Much like your attempt to blog spam my site. Love your name Poker nice to meet you Poker. — please lord why do you SEO morons exist?

  13. Neil Web on April 26th, 2010 2:37 pm

eGaming SEO is a new term to me, but something I wish to learn more about. Although, I believe that online bingo is dead, I think there is great opportunity in the sports gambling world. Gambling sites are light years ahead for affiliate marketing and perhaps even so for seo. This makes the industry very attractive for an SEO guy like myself.

  14. Daily Meditations on June 4th, 2010 9:46 am

I agree with Poker, as long as they have the budget marketing is open game.

Online gaming is a huge hit, especially in our time compressed society. And where there’s profit, there’s a marketing budget.

Besides, with all these different versions of entertainment we are still board and looking for something new/fulfilling/risky.

E-marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) go hand in hand. So, if your business is Gambling and Gaming online the optimization of that site is absolutely necessary. How you do this is by applying integrity when accessing another company or personal web which in turn you link back to your site. As I am doing now! I am keen to see some stricter guidelines and expectations when marketing your product through e-commerce as I like many, would like the view of the SEO providers be viewed as professionals in the field of e-business.
