  • Google’s index sizes are fluctuating wildly for various terms. Always an indicator of updates. #
  • Google Caffeine results are far out of line from the main Google Index. Anyone else seeing this? #
  • Just ran into this screencast from Omniture. It’s actually quite good SEO and Analytics http://dannedelko.com/jaa #

Don’t get if google caffeine is going to be integrated into the normal search? Isn’t it just opinions and peoples’ news?

We decided to rename the search engine anyway… http://www.dontdoitdan.co.uk/2009/08/things-i-have-invented/ =)

The caffeine update is more about Google’s infrastructure — scalability, response times and other enhancements (according to Matt Cutts). The SERPs are not supposed to vary too much but I’m seeing otherwise, things could settle down before it’s fully integrated though. Definitely interesting to watch.
