Ok looks like it’s an RTFM issue (hopefully). After installing the tumblog (or WooThemes supported Tumblog) you need to go to Settings > Permalinks and save your permalink structure again. This re-registers the custom taxonomies with the Tumblog plugin.

Here’s the reference from WooThemes Tumblog Support: http://www.woothemes.com/support/wootumblog/

Now the question is: did it work?

Technology Predictions as of June 2011

Here’s a quick run down of my most recent predictions as of June 2011 in the world of technology and business:

  1. MSFT acquires RIM within 18 months. This makes sense for RIM and for MSFT, both of whom have complementary issues which both can help to solve.
  2. APPL acquires Twitter. More on this.
  3. Twitter is recognized as an infrastructure component rather than a website or application. Similar to email.
  4. Twitter is integrated directly into numerous operating systems but most heavily into Mac OS X.

That’s pretty much it for now. Since this is in part a test of the new quick Tumblog features and specifically figuring out why image posting is borked, you may see further annoying and odd micro-posts.

This is a pretty cool test – will wordbooker post to Facebook with this. The end goal – post to blog via Express and spit everything out to FB and Twitter.
