Prior to this, in 1993 Dan, at age 21, was the co-owner and proprietor of Japan Camera Camera (JCC #133) located in Market Square in Downtown Kitchener. Dan took over this failing franchise in the economically challenged downtown Kitchener core and successfully turned around the fortunes of the location. 

This experience fostered a sense of entrepreneurship in Dan which ultimately led to the founding of Honeypot Marketing.
